Privacy policy

Here’s how The Party Games App and this website handle your information.

Last updated: 19 October 2026

1. Overview

The app has no accounts, advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. Player names, character choices, game progress, and card history are stored on your iPhone. We don’t run a server that receives your gameplay data.

This policy covers The Party Games App and thepartygames.app. The app is currently coming soon to the App Store; the app sections describe the version being prepared for release.

Apple handles App Store downloads and in-app purchases under its own privacy policies. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send.

2. Data stored on your iPhone

The app saves the information it needs to run and resume your games:

  • Player names and chosen characters.
  • Your group, active game, scores, and game progress.
  • Card history to manage the prompts shown during play.
  • Sound and haptic preferences.

This information is stored in the app’s local storage. The app does not upload it to us or sync it through an app-operated cloud service. It does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, or microphone, and it does not record your conversations.

Depending on your device settings, app data may be included in backups managed by Apple. Those backups are separate from the app and are covered by Apple’s backup information.

3. App Store purchases

The optional Party Collection is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple. The app uses Apple’s StoreKit framework to verify purchase transactions on your device and determine whether the collection is unlocked, including when you restore purchases.

We do not receive your payment card details or Apple Account password. Apple may provide developers with purchase, sales, or diagnostic information through its services, subject to Apple’s policies and your sharing settings. The app does not add its own analytics or crash-reporting service.

Read Apple’s App Store & Privacy information for details about Apple’s handling of downloads, payments, and related information.

4. This website

This website does not use analytics, advertising pixels, tracking cookies, account registration, or mailing-list forms. Fonts and artwork are served with the website rather than loaded from third-party font or image services.

When you visit, the service hosting the website necessarily processes connection information, such as your IP address, requested page, browser information, and request time, to deliver and protect the site. The hosting provider may retain operational or security logs under its own policies. We do not use those requests to build advertising profiles.

Links to Apple or other external websites take you to services governed by their own privacy policies.

5. When you contact us

If you email support@thepartygames.app, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any attachments you send. We use this information to answer your question, investigate an issue, and provide support.

Support correspondence is handled by our email service provider. We keep it only as long as needed to handle your request, maintain relevant support records, or meet legal obligations. We do not sell your information or add you to a marketing list because you contacted support.

Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, or private information about other players.

6. Your choices

You can clear your group, saved game, and card history using Reset local data in the app’s Settings. This does not remove your App Store purchase. Sound and haptic preferences can be changed separately.

Deleting the app removes its local data from that installation. Device backups and Apple’s purchase records are managed separately through Apple.

To ask about, access, correct, or delete information you have sent us by email, contact support@thepartygames.app. We will respond in line with applicable privacy requirements. We cannot access gameplay data stored only on your device.

7. Children’s privacy

The app does not ask players for an age, email address, or account, and does not transmit player information to us. If a child has shared personal information with us through a support email, a parent or guardian can contact us to request its deletion, subject to any legal requirement to retain it.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy if the app, website, or our data practices change. The latest version will be available on this page with an updated date.

For privacy questions or requests, contact The Party Games App at support@thepartygames.app.
