Suddenly, naming things is hard.
A simple category becomes a room full of shouting, frantic thinking, and very creative answers. The timer is hidden. Nobody knows how close they are.

Here’s how Category Rush works.
Meet your category
Read the category aloud and get everyone ready. The app starts a hidden timer that lasts between 25 and 40 seconds.
Say it, then pass it
Name something that fits, tap Pass or swipe horizontally, and hand the phone to the next player. Keep the answers moving while the timer keeps its secret.
Don’t get caught holding it
When time runs out, the active player gets a strike. Check who was holding the turn, then start a fresh category. Everyone gets a round as the starting player.
Who wins?
The player with the fewest strikes wins. If a handoff was disputed, you can correct the strike before moving on. Agree as a group whether an answer fits, and keep things moving.
